CHINESE
FORCES RECAPTURE WUHAN
Celebration
turns to tears as Chinese Army sees first hand the brutality and slaughter that
Japanese occupation brings
Wuhan, China
One minute Chinese forces entered Wuhan with great cheers and pride as
the Japanese Army scrambled to slip back to its own lines; the next the Chinese
soldiers were silent, shocked and numb as to what they saw when the entered
Wuhuan. „There was not a street, a
house, or a square that did not have a body, a river of blood or a brutally
maimed citizen begging for help“ said Lt. Chen of the Chinese National
Forces. „We have known of Japanese
attrocities, but we have not known until now the extent of their cruelty and
disregard for humanity“. Chinese forces
have immediately began putting resources to use to help the citizens of Wuhuan,
however for many that will entail only burials and notifications. During this reporter‘s visit, I have seen
wide spread murder, rape, beating, maiming and genocide of entire families and
communities. One woman stated that the
Japanese seemed to enjoy slaughtering civilians. In fact, the more a civilian begged for his life, the more
violent the death and the more wide-spread the killings became. It is too early to give an estimate on civilian
losses, but preliminary estimates are in excess of 30,000 dead. In the mean-time, the Chinese tropps
continue to pursue the fleeing Japanese Army, and bring whatever level of
humanitarian relif they can to civilians who were forced to live under the
Japanese sword.
Capra‘s
Film explains the terror across our oceans
Frank Capra, a film producer, has created a
masterpiece film entitled „A prelude to War“ that explains the exact danger
faced by America from the Axis parties across the pacific and atlantic oceans.
A Prelude to War (referring to the currrent European and Asian wars) starts off
with a quote from the U.S. Vice President „This is a fight between a free world
and a slave world“. „All the great
leaders of the past were based on freedom; Moses, Muhammad, Confucius, and
Christ. In the eyes of God, all men are created equal.“ The segment ends with the reminder that this
basic covenant is included in the U.S. Constitution.
The following segments use German, Japanese and
Italian films and reels to bring these Governments own words to explain their
intents. Prelude to War exposes the corruption of Germany, Japan, and Italy.
Focusing on the lack of freedom and misuse of government power, Capra proves
that they have no more free press, or right to their own religion. A quote from
the movie says, „Even God should get out of the way of the New Order.“ The
movie shows school children singing a song called Hitler their „lord“.
The final parts of the film showed thousands of
Japanese and German soldiers marching around in perfect form. One of the most
touching scenes was when Japan first attacked China. Dead and dying bodies were
shown lying in the streets. They were all civilians, also dead babies were
shown with missing body parts and mostly covered in blood. Prelude To War clearly states the size and
power of Germany‘s army. „ It has 30 tank divisions, 70 motorized divisions,
140 infantry divisions, and the largest air force in the world. It goes on and
on how Hitler has been building up his army for years and years just to make
the entire world „his slaves.“ Then it explains how the war got started. That
Japan heavily armed the border of China and attacked because they said that
their „honor was broken.“ Then Italy did the same exact thing in attacking Egypt.
Capra then rally‘s the American by saying, „ two worlds stand against each
other, one must die, one must live.“ Throughout the movie he restated that they
were a slave world and we would be to if we let ourselves be beat. Clearly,
this is the best film to date to explain exactly what America faces, and it is
the opinion of this reporter that no American should fail to see this movie.
